2020 PI Collaborative Series Part 1: Management of Behavioral Health Issues

During this series, we will look at issues facing health care organizations, such as improving care for patients with acute and chronic behavior health issues, reducing opioid prescribing in orthopedic procedures, improving the management of chronic COPD, and addressing acute care capacity constraints. All of these topics contribute to performance improvement.

- Describe strategies to effectively monitor and manage behavioral health patients in the acute care setting
- Discuss the role of behavioral health integration in the outpatient setting for effectively addressing and responding to the complex health needs of this patient population
