Their presentation, titled "The Secret Sauce to Retaining Nurse Residents: Clinical Mentor Extenders," will provide a detailed look into their innovative Clinical Mentor Extender Program. This program utilizes trained staff who offer crucial support to nurse residents within their units. The presentation will also delve into their unique referral algorithm, a tool that guides mentors in directing nurse residents towards the most suitable resources. Furthermore, they will share their program outcomes, including a compelling nurse resident testimonial and evidence of reduced staff turnover.
