Nurse Resident Perspectives and Engagement Strategies to Meet the Moment
This session, led by Brittany Beckmann, MSN, RN, NPD-BC, shares insights from the 2025 nurse resident focus groups conducted at the Vizient NRP Annual Conference. These findings highlight nurse residents’ perceptions of support, satisfaction, and professional growth within their programs. Coordinators will explore key themes from the data, reflect on how these perspectives align with their own program experiences, and consider opportunities for responsive improvement. The session will also introduce newly developed engagement strategies and teaching activities, designed to enhance seminar delivery across key topics. Through reflection and shared dialogue, participants will leave with actionable ideas to strengthen their programs and better support nurse residents.
