In her role as Accreditation Advisor Gina Holiway is responsible
for delivering Regulatory and Accreditation Services including
mock surveys/gap assessments for hospital, critical access,
ambulatory and behavioral health programs, disease specific
certifications and CMS conditions of participation. Gina also
provides coaching during TJC surveys to brainstorm evidence of
compliance or mitigate areas of non-compliance.  She has served
as faculty for educational presentations on accreditation and CMS
compliance topics. In her role she ensures that leaders are
receiving maximum value from their participation in Vizient’s
Regulatory and accreditation advisory services.

Gina has over 30 years of experience in healthcare including
patient safety, quality improvement, risk management and
services in a variety of healthcare settings. She has served in
various capacities as a registered nurse including clinical and
leadership roles. Her clinical and leadership practice settings
include Labor and Delivery, Medical- Surgical and Emergency
Room nursing. Her leadership roles include Chief Nursing Officer,
Performance Improvement Manager and Risk Manager.  Prior to
joining Vizient, Gina served as a full time surveyor in the hospital
and critical access hospital accreditation programs. While at TJC,
Gina often served as a survey team leader including corporate
surveys. She has conducted on-site Intracycle Monitoring
Surveys, “For Cause” and other types of survey events including
CMS condition level deficiency follow up surveys.

Gina earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Health
Administration from the University of Phoenix.
